Police: Archer Street crash sends 2 to hospital

Police say a crash between a livery cab and SUV sent two people to the hospital earlier in the evening.

Surveillance video shows the livery cab driver attempting to make a left turn onto Archer Street when the driver of the Dodge Challenger, driving south on White Plains Road, hit the cab.

Witnesses say the Dodge Challenger hit a pole after the two cars collided. Police say they are trying to determine the cause of the crash.

Officials say one of the victims is in serious but stable condition. The other victim suffered minor injuries. Both victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
