Con Ed union workers rally for second straight day
Con Ed workers rallied for a second day today after contract talks broke down over the weekend.
The workers took to the streets on East Fordham Road and Third Avenue to protest the recent lockout that affects about 8,500 workers.
Con Ed officials say talks between the company and the union will continue on Thursday. Company officials say they've replaced the union workers with 5,000 managers.
The protesting workers told News 12 The Bronx that they hope the situation is resolved soon.
