Bronx Parents Center unveiled at Mercy College
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this morning to mark the opening of the Bronx Parent Center at Mercy College. Parents will be able to take part in workshops on a variety of topics, including problem management, support for special needs children, math and reading help and understanding technology. The workshops aim to help parents participate more effectively in their own children's education. The workshops are free and they will be taught at Mercy College, as well as at schools throughout the borough.
