The MTA will be expanding the priority bus pilot program on the M15 line following a successful run of the Bx12 line running through Fordham Road.The program, which started on the Bx12 about four years ago, makes bus only lanes where street parking was once available and gives the busses the ability to change traffic lights to green in an effort to get people to their destinations faster.The MTA plans on having more busses in The Bronx, but has not yet released which lines it will affect.
