Rising gas prices mean more pain at the pump in The Bronx
Prices are rising at the pump again, and Bronx drivers say they're making sacrifices to conserve fuel and money.
According to published prices, the most expensive gas station in the borough is charging $4.89 for a gallon of regular gas. Super grade gas at the station is $4.99 a gallon. Factors affecting the gas prices include hurricanes and unrest in the Middle East.
In addition to the high gas prices, cab drivers say the rising fuel costs affect their wages because they're spending more of their salary on gas.
