Thousands lined the streets for West Indian Day Parade in BK
Crowds formed all down Eastern Parkway today as the West Indian Day Parade kicked off for another year.
This year's turnout was smaller then expected, with only thousands lining the streets to watch the parade. The annual celebration of Caribbean culture is one of the largest parades in the country.
The event took over the streets with music, dancing, costumes, lots of food and plenty of fun.
Organizers say the parade takes months and months of preparation. They say the planning for next year's parade begins right after the judges table.
