Police: BK man, Nassau officer fatally shot by ex-con
An ex-con accused of gunning down a Nassau County police officer and an innocent bystander from Brooklyn is in police custody at Jamaica Hospital.
According to police, 52-year-old Raymond Facey, of Brooklyn, was on the Cross Island Parkway when 33-year-old Darrell Fuller shot him in the head and stole his car.
Authorities say Fuller had first shot 29-year-old Emergency Services Unit officer Arthur Lopez, of Long Island, in the chest after a traffic stop near the Queens and Nassau County border.
Fuller eventually ditched Facey's car in Queens and was later found with what appeared to be self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
