Parkchester man robbed at gunpoint in own home

Police are searching for the suspect who they say robbed a young Parkchester man at gunpoint in his own home.

According to authorities, a man entered the 23-year-old victim's apartment near Metropolitan Oval, pulled out a gun, and demanded a laptop and cell phone. They say it happened at around 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 14.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 27 years old, and about 160 pounds. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
