The Montefiore Medical Center has announced big plans for a new expansion.

The hospital plans to lease an 11-story, 280,000-square foot building at the Hutchinson Metro Center for its fourth campus. The addition will feature a new surgery center, and on-site labs and pharmacies.

Construction is also under way at the same location for the borough's first Marriott Residence Inn. That $90 million project is expected to bring in more than 100 new jobs.
