Bronx man's altercation with store workers turns heads
Bystander video of 7-Eleven employees in an altercation with a suspected thief from The Bronx cost one worker his job and has some crying foul.
Employees say 29-year-old David Golson tried to steal two boxes of candy bars from the downtown Brooklyn convenience store on Wednesday. The video allegedly shows Golsen nearly losing all of his clothing when confronted by workers who were attempting to stop him from fleeing the scene.
Employee Tayab Ali says he has been fired as a result of the incident.
Regular customers at the 7-Eleven on Flatbush Avenue say although the workers are typically very nice, they believe they took this incident too far.
Golson was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and assault.
