‘Bronx Tale’ star returns to borough to examine new artwork
An Oscar nominated actor from the Bronx returned to the borough today to see a new mural in the Belmont neighborhood.
Chazz Palminteri, who played Sonny in "A Bronx Tale," was greeted by a crowd of fans as he examined the 100-foot-long and 20-foot high mural with his face on it.
"I used to roam these streets when I was a young boy," Palminteri said. "And now here they are putting up life size pictures of me, you know, it's really exciting."
Artists Mike A and Ron Rundo say Palminteri has been supportive of the art project.
"A Bronx Tale" is now on Broadway.
