A popular roller skating rink in Borough Park is set to be demolished.

The rink used to be home to a hockey league up until a few years ago. Hockey players in the borough still have been coming here every weekend for a chance to play.

Residents who use the rink say they'll miss the friendships they've built up by playing together over the years.

The Parks Department is preparing to renovate the rink into a playground. 

The closure of the rink means there will be just four parks in Brooklyn left with hockey rinks.
