Sheepshead Bay synagogue hands out meals for Passover

A Sheepshead Bay synagogue offered Seder meals to the needy Monday evening to commemorate the first night of Passover.

Beth Shifra sent needy community members home with bags full of kosher items.

The Beth Shifra food drive has gone on for more than 45 years, officials say, and benefits about 300 families annually.
