Police search for person who shot man in Bed-Stuy

Police are searching for the person who shot a man several times in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Monday evening.



Surveillance video shows a 32-year-old man walking by Hancock Street and Broadway around 10:30 p.m. when an unknown man approaches him from behind and starts shooting.



The victim was struck five times, but survived his injuries.



Police believe the man they are searching for is in his late teens or early 20s. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.



Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the police.
