Man fatally stabbed in Fort Greene in alleged lovers’ brawl

A man was fatally stabbed in Fort Greene Sunday morning in an alleged lovers' brawl.



Officials say the 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed around 6 a.m. inside his apartment at 30 Fleet Walk in the Ingersoll Houses.



When officers arrived, they say the victim had multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.



A 42-year-old male suspect, who was allegedly the boyfriend of the victim, was taken into custody from the location. A knife was also recovered.



Neighbors told News 12 off camera that there was allegedly domestic violence involved.



The victim's name has not been released.
