Famous black history memorabilia auctioned off in DUMBO

Prized pieces of black history, including items belonging to legendary rapper Tupac, went on the auction block Friday in DUMBO.

The Black Heritage Auction in DUMBO features the largest collection of Tupac material offered in one location. Items included Tupac's signed Quran, his gold jewelry and his prison ID. There were even lyric sheets from Tupac with all his corrections.

There were also items from Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. up for grabs. For all the boxing fans out there, a pair of Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves were on display to be snatched up.

All of the pieces included in the auction come with a hefty price at owning a piece of history.
