Flooding causes problems along Belt Parkway
Flooding on the Belt Parkway and other secondary roads in Brooklyn caused trouble for commuters Tuesday.
Flooding was apparent along the parkway near the Knapp Street and Flatbush Avenue exits.
Commuters headed into Manhattan and Brooklyn were faced with major delays and traffic.
Those traveling toward Long Island did not see as much traffic.
The heaviest of the rain passed through the area overnight prompting flooding and some road closures around the city.
