Professional storyteller helps others share their stories
March marks Women's History Month and one professional storyteller is helping Brooklyn residents tell their own narratives.
Robin Bady has been telling stories and giving courage to others for 25 years.
"Storytelling is the best strategy for everything practically because it has within it everything. It has math, science, empathy and music and connection. We need that visual art," Bady says.
Bady says that her career path was a surprise because she wanted to be an actress, but she eventually found more love for just talking to people in bars, theaters and other venues.
She now hosts storytelling events in her home and invites others to get up to tell their own stories.
