Town hall brings NYC agencies face to face with residents

Agencies from across New York City banded together Thursday to try and address concerns of the community they serve.

City Councilman Jumaane Williams brought several groups including the NYPD, the FDNY and the Department of Transportation to a town hall meeting at Kingsway Jewish Center.

The topic of concern involved quality of life issues in the area that ranged from parking to water bills.

"We try to make sure that we bring agencies to the communities that have questions so we do town halls and programs like this with different parts of my district to make sure everyone has access," says Williams.
