Bed-Stuy bodega shooting injures 2 people

Two people were injured in a shooting Tuesday evening in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Police say the shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. inside a bodega on Marcus Garvey Boulevard. Sources say there was some sort of dispute before the shots rang out.

One victim, a 50-year-old man, was shot in the upper thigh. A 27-year-old man was hit in the leg. Both were taken to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police say the suspect, described as wearing white pants, a red jacket and a red hat, fled the scene on foot.
