Brooklyn Nets players surprise cancer patients
The Brooklyn Nets made a special visit Monday to the only cancer center in the borough.
Players Justin Hamilton, Quincy Acy, Joe Harris and Sean Kilpatrick visited the Maimonides Cancer Center to surprise patients receiving treatments and lift their spirits.
The players gave out Nets gift bags, signed autographs and took pictures.
"Basketball is just what we do. It's not who we are. I think this is who we are - giving back and seeing the smiles on kids' faces," Acy says.
