FDNY: 1 injured in 2-alarm fire at Brooklyn building

At least one person was injured after a two-alarm fire broke out inside a Brooklyn building Thursday, fire officials say.



The fire started in the basement of a six-story building at the intersection of Brightwater Court in Brighton Beach around 6 a.m. 



Firefighters say one person was transported to Staten Island Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 



The cause of the fire has not been determined.
