Cosmos set to make move to Brooklyn

The New York Cosmos announced Tuesday that they will be making a move to Brooklyn.

The local soccer team will have their home games at MCU Park in Coney Island for the 2017 season.

Although the Cosmos won the championship last year, the team's future was uncertain up until December. It was then that Mount Saint Michael Academy alumni Rocco Comisso saved the team with the help of Brooklyn soccer star Joe Barone.

The team's opener is Saturday in Puerto Rico and the first home game will be on April 1.
