Cars still stuck in ice 3 days after snowstorm

Friday marked three days since Tuesday's late-winter storm dropped a slushy mess onto Brooklyn, and some people in Brownsville were still dealing with cars stuck in icy mounds of snow.

Resident Destinyi says her car is encased in ice. She parked at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Thomas S. Boyland Street on Tuesday and never got the chance to move her car during the storm. Destinyi's car is among many other vehicles lined up on the street still buried in snow.

Destinyi says she hasn't been able to even get inside her car to see if it would start due to the doors being blocked. She has contacted multiple city agencies, but it seems that she must wait until the ice melts.

More snow is on tap for Saturday into Sunday. Some parts of Brooklyn are expected to receive a dusting up to 2 inches.
