Brooklyn residents brave the cold for the necessities

Brooklyn residents braved the cold temperatures after a day full of snow, sleet and rain to make grocery store runs.

At 248 Deli and Grocery in Canarsie, the weather couldn't stop some people from heading to the store to stock up on food items.

Many customers seemed grateful that the store remained open during the storm.

The store's owner says that they are open 24 hours and that some snow wouldn't stop them.
