Snow, sleet falls in Crown Heights

A mix of snow and ice fell in Crown Heights Tuesday.

Three inches of snow is already on the ground, and some parts of the borough could see at least a foot when the storm is through.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a state of emergency for New York, and all above-ground New York City subway service is suspended as of 4 a.m. today.

Snow accumulations will range from 4-8 inches by 12 p.m. and will be heavy at times, according to News 12 meteorologists.

The snow is expected to slow later this evening.
