Dozens of motorcycles lined a street in Greenpoint Sunday for the seventh annual Bike Blessing.

The event is a chance for bikers to have their motorcycles blessed by a priest to kick off a new spring season.

Bikers gathered from all over the tristate region. Organizers say participants feel it is special for everyone to partake in the prayer service and blessing of their bikes.

They say it symbolizes safety and the event is a way to talk about smart riding.
