2 F train stations reopen after construction
Two subway stations have officially reopened after being closed for a year's worth of construction.
The Avenue X and Avenue U stations in Gravesend have reopened, officials say. Commuters can now catch the Coney Island-bound F train from those stations again.
The city closed a total of nine subway stations in Brooklyn for the $140 million renewal plan.
Repairs included new staircases and lighting.
