Forecast: Periods of heavy rain, wind expected Friday

EDISON -

New Jersey saw sunny, clear skies Tuesday, but temperatures were only in the mid-30s for most of the day. 

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Mike Favetta says temperatures Wednesday will be in the mid-40s, with mostly sunny skies. Conditions will be chilly.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the low-30s, with mostly cloudy skies. Conditions will be cold, but dry.

Thursday is expected to see temperatures in the high-40s. There is the possibility of some afternoon rain. Conditions will be milder.

Friday should see periods of heavy rain throughout the day. There are some flooding concerns due to the amount of rain New Jersey has already seen this year. Temperatures could reach into the 60s.
