Thousands of shoppers took advantage of the warm weather and enjoyed the Fabulous Fifth Avenue Fair Sunday.

The event, which is in its 16th year, features food, drinks, shopping and family fun along Fifth Avenue in Park Slope.

Organizers say it is a way for local storeowners to bring their products out in the streets and hopefully meet some new customers.

Forty percent of participating vendors are local shop-owners, artists and artisans, and organizers say the tradition grows every year.
