Police are searching for two men wanted in connection to a home invasion robbery in Brownsville.

According to police, the incident happened on East New York Avenue last Wednesday around 11:30 p.m.

The NYPD says one of the men was armed with a black handgun as the duo pushed their way inside the 31-year-old female victim's apartment.  The victim's 54-year-old father was also coming into the home. 

Police say the suspects demanded money and tried to steal an Xbox video game system, but the victims fought them off. 

Investigators say one victim was pistol whipped. 

Cops say the suspects got away with a Samsung Galaxy S6 cellphone.
