Former Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders delivered a Brooklyn College commencement address Tuesday at the Barclays Center.

Giving a fiery and progressive call to action, Sanders called on the college's 2017 class to fight for social justice as they head out into the world. Sanders also touched on income inequality and political corruptions, showcasing the political agenda that catapulted him to fame during the presidential bid.

Sanders was not only born and raised in Brooklyn, but he also attended Brooklyn College nearly 40 years ago.
