BROOKLYN -

Police are asking for help identifying a man who impersonated a police officer during a robbery in Canarsie.

Police say on May 14, a man pointed a gun at a 34-year-old and demanded money.

The victim fought back, and that’s when a second man jumped in and claimed to be a police officer, officials say.

According to investigators, when the victim released his grip on the attacker, both men grabbed his belongings and ran away.
