BROOKLYN -

Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a 32-year-old woman on a subway platform.

Officials say the man was yelling anti-woman and anti-white remarks while on a southbound 4 train. When the woman intervened, investigators say the suspect began to beat her with his baseball cap.

The suspect and the victim got off at Nevins Street, where the suspect then punched her in the face before running off.

Police say the woman was not taken to the hospital, and she is expected to be OK.
