The CEO of Brooklyn Solar Works says President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Deal could inspire residents to go solar in protest.
CEO T.R. Ludwig, says they have received about 15 calls asking about their solar services since the president's decision was made public on Thursday.
Supporters of Trump's decision say the deal could hurt American taxpayers, jobs and industries.
Ludwig says for now, the burden to save the planet shifts to everyday Americans.
"It's rooftop to rooftop, person to person," he says. "Do everything you can to have a positive impact on the environment."
The U.S. joins two other countries not signing onto the Paris deal -- Nicaragua and Syria.
