Renovations are underway to transform an iconic building into a huge indoor-outdoor office and retail space in Brooklyn Heights.
The space was the former Jehovah's Witness headquarters, which was purchased last summer for a reported $340 million, making it one of the biggest deals in Brooklyn’s history.
Developers have unveiled renderings for the future of the 600,000-square-foot space, which can hold up to 5,000 employees.
The plan shows tenant-focused retail, art and shops on the street level. Designers say there will also be 20 public and private terraces with panoramic views of the city-scape.
There is no word yet on when the project will be completed.
