Residents take advantage of hot weather

BROOKLYN -

Many Brooklyn residents took advantage of Tuesday's hot weather.

In Crown Heights, the Hailstone Ice Distributor sells all kinds of ice, whether it be in cubed form or as dry ice. And when temperatures spike, so does business. Plenty of people stocked up on ice in an attempt to keep cool.

Some others headed to Coney Island and Brighton Beach, but those who wanted to avoid the crowds went to Plumb Beach, located off the Belt Parkway.

Many came equipped with sunscreen and water to make sure they were hydrated and didn't burn throughout the day. Plumb Beach is a pet-friendly beach.
