Some of New York's Finest are using secret skills to help some kids get razor-sharp looks for their prom.
The Gregory Jackson School in Brownsville collaborated Monday with the Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, as well as barbers from New Jersey and the NYPD, to give free haircuts to around 40 children in pre-K up to the eighth grade.
The school says this is their third year working with the NYPD for the free haircuts.
The eighth-graders will sport their new haircuts during their prom Thursday. The NYPD even bought a few of the young men at the event suits for their big night.
