BUSHWICK -

At least one person was injured after an MTA bus rolled backward down a hill in Brooklyn, smashing into several parked cars and a church fence Tuesday, according to witnesses.

The incident happened on Bushwick Avenue around 2:30 a.m. in Bushwick.

Video shows the empty bus rolling backward down the street before striking the fence.

A man changing a tire was struck by the bus and suffered injuries before being taken to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.

Police say 10 cars were also struck and damaged by the bus.

The driver of the MTA bus told police she forgot to put the emergency brake on.

An MTA spokesperson tells News 12 they are investigating the incident.
