Brooklyn residents packed the Vegas Diner in Bensonhurst for a final meal before the business shut its doors for good.
The Vegas Diner has been dishing up tasty, no-nonsense staples since 1983.
The diner’s 75-year-old owner says it is time to retire. He says the diner will be serving meals until 7 a.m. Monday.
Customers say they feel at home in the diner and it will certainly be missed.
The diner’s closing comes less than a year after sister diner Del Rio also permanently shut its doors.
