Canarsie residents say they want something to be done about what they call a dangerous intersection.
They say drivers passing through the intersection Avenue K and E. 95th Street have to be very cautious.
"When you come to this stop sign, you have to inch to keep looking to see other cars coming," says concerned resident Cecil Belfon.
Lloyd Holmes says he's lived at the intersection for decades and has had to reinforce the wall outside his house with steel beams to brace for impact.
"It's dangerous for kids playing on the corner,” he says. “Every time I see kids riding the bikes over here, I tell them to move away. I don't even let my grandson on this corner."
News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation for comment and they say they are conducting a study of the location.
