Millionaire real estate executive Paul Massey says he is dropping out of the city’s mayoral election.

The Republican says he could not keep up with the cost of running against an incumbent.

He recently outlined a plan to build parks near parts of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and Cross Bronx Expressway.

On his Facebook page, Massey recently released a statement in part saying, “As I have in the past, I intend to involve myself in community and not-for-profit organizations in New York City, especially in education, which is my passion. New York certainly hasn't heard the last from me.”
