Police: Men robbed deli twice in 2 days
Police are asking for the public's help finding two men who they say robbed the same deli twice in two days.
Investigators say surveillance video shows the first armed robbery that took place on July 3.
The two men are seen walking into Habibi Deli just before 3 a.m. One of the suspects is then seen pointing a gun at the cashier and demanding money.
They say the suspects made off with around $700 from the cash register.
The following day at around 3 a.m., the duo struck again as police say the same suspect pointed his gun at deli employee and followed him around the counter. He then took out $500 from the cash register and his accomplice stole $70 from the employee's pants pocket, according to police.
In both cases, police say the armed suspect was wearing white gloves and a black hooded sweatshirt, along with dark sneakers.
Police say he is in his 20s and around 5 feet 7 inches tall.
They say the other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt in the first incident and a patterned jacket in the second.
No one was injured in either armed robbery.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
