BED-STUY -

Police have identified two men in connection to the double fatal shooting of two Bed-Stuy mothers.

Nazir Saunders, 20, and Anthony Alexander, 18, are accused of fatally shooting both 21-year-old Chynna Battle and 29-year-old Shaqwanda Staley in the courtyard of an apartment complex on Gates Avenue on July 12.

Police say the two men fired over six shots into a crowd of people as they sat down for a barbecue, fatally striking the two mothers who police say were not the intended targets.

Nazir, who also goes by the names 'Nazi' or 'Stinky,' and Anthony fired shots into the crowd before running away, according to police.

There is a $10,000 reward leading to the arrest of both men.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call police at 1-800-577-TIPS
