Police say they have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a Bedford Avenue restaurant.
Tony Thomas, 38, was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
Authorities say two men entered "The Meatball Shop" armed with a handgun and demanded money on Wednesday.
They ordered a worker into the basement where they made him open the restaurant's safe – then forced him into a stand-up freezer.
They fled with $2,000.
The second suspect is still on the loose.
