Report: Councilman Williams considers possible run for governor

BROOKLYN -

City Councilmember Jumaane Williams says he will possibly run for governor, according to the Daily News.

Williams told the Daily News he's been approached by several people asking him to run.

The Brooklyn democrat says right now he is 100 percent focused on running for the city council speakership that opens in January.

He says he is not ruling out a possible run for governor.
