A woman was killed in a multicar crash on Boston Road Monday.

Police say the 65-year-old woman was driving a white Mercury Mountaineer SUV when she crashed into four other vehicles, including some that were parked.

Her SUV turned onto its side. She was removed from the wreckage and taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The woman’s identity has not been released.

Surveillance video from the scene shows the SUV smashing into other cars and pushing them forward. Police say the SUV appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed before the impact.

Witnesses overheard police say that the woman may have had a medical emergency behind the wheel, possibly a stroke, before the crash. But that information has not been confirmed by authorities at this time.

Officials say the crash remains under investigation.
