A 56-year-old man is accused of killing his wife in Brooklyn after police say they responded to a home to find the woman dead.
Police say 56-year-old Loiseau Desmoulins was arrested at the scene and charged with murder connected to the death of his wife.
The incident happened Tuesday around 11 a.m. inside the couple's Avenue J home in Flatlands.
Police say they arrived at the home and found the 63-year-old woman lying on the bedroom floor with head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say Desmoulins told them he found his wife lying on the floor before he called 911.
The woman's identity has not been released.
Police say there were no signs of forced entry in the home. The medical examiner is investigating her cause of death.
