Cheddar morning business update 9/8: Apple prepares to unveil iPhone 8

  • Apple's getting ready to unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 8. but people looking for the higher end model could be waiting a while. The Wall Street Journal reports that phone is facing major production delays. Stemming from Apple’s decision to build new phones using OLED screens, similar to those used by rival Samsung. 
  • College football is coming facebook. Barstool Sports is launching a live college football show on Facebook to take on ESPN’s College GameDay. Barstool will travel to about 20 college campuses this season for its live Barstool Tailgate Show Starting this weekend at Ohio State University. 
  • And a real sign of fall. Pumpkin spice season is officially here. Krispy Kreme is out with a pumpkin spice doughnut it's the same as its original glazed, but with a hint of cinnamon and pumpkin spice and it's available for one day only, today.
