Surveillance video shows fatal shooting, stabbing suspect

Police have released surveillance video of a man accused of fatally shooting and stabbing another man in Brooklyn.
Police were called to the scene near 4th Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday, where they found Steven Vargas, 47, with a stab wound and multiple gunshot wounds to his upper chest.
He was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police describe the suspect as being between 40 and 50 years old with a light complexion.
He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored jeans, dark-colored shoes and a white shirt.
